Hi I'm William Hamilton

I grew up in America. I'm going to Utica to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to college for a while, then started working. While living on my own I made friends, went bowling and went to theaters, while putting the money I saved toward the opportunity to serve a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I realized Joseph Smith prayed concerning which church was true. There are those who say he made up a story, but he was doing exactly what I was doing at the time: searching for truth through prayer. So I prayed and felt through the fruits of the Spirit that the Book of Mormon is true. Upon knowing this, I realized if this book is true then surely the church is too, and Joseph Smith must have been a prophet. How else could he have translated this book into our language? Over time I have developed my testimony and learned more truths that affirmed my knowledge. So in short I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it is the true and restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I follow the commandments and keep covenants of my faith, serve a calling as a sacrament coordinator, and attend church activities. I accept all regardless of their backgrounds, and tell those who inquire about my faith what I believe, and why I believe it. I defend my faith but recognize the choice we all have to believe what we will and do not argue differences of belief
