Hi I'm Jenna

i live in Buffalo, NY. I'm a social worker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 22 year old LDS member living in Akron, Ohio. I am a recent graduate from Brigham Young University, and I currently work in the mental health field. My hobbies include swimming, running, music, and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have a testimony in the restoration of the gospel and in the latter day prophets. I grew up in the Church, but like many I didn't gain my own testimony of Church until I was older. One of the many perks of going to BYU is that you can take religion classes from some amazing church leaders and historians. I think a lot of my personal testimony came as a result of those classes and the spirit that I felt there. Personally, I feel as though I am always slowly growing my testimony in different areas. For example, when I was on an internship in Romania working with orphans my testimony on the importance of families, temple work, and knowing that God loves us really grew. I find that each major life event has led me to understanding a principle of the gospel that I hadn't before. I know that the Lord puts me in certain situations to teach me, and I am so grateful for that. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have always worked with the youth in my various wards, and I love it! They are so fun to teach and discuss gospel doctrine. I feel uplifted knowing that one day they will be missionaries teaching people about the same lessons I'm helping them understand now.
