Hi I'm Luz Eguizabal

I like helping people. I am a full time mom and I love animals. I am a Mormon!!!

About Me

I was born in Ecuador and raised in New York City. I know that my Heavenly Father has always been there for me since I was born. I am a married mother of a loving husband and four beautiful kids. My husband and I like to have date night once a month. I like to spend time with my family, but I also enjoy my personal time. I like to knit, cook, and eat. I am a chiropractor assistant. and I am a convert to the church and have been a member for about 20 years. Once I joined the church I felt that it was what I was waiting for because I new that there was more to life. Deep down I new that family could be together forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I first discovered the church when my cousin sent the missionaries to my home. They knocked on my door and when I answered I saw two missionaries at my doorstep. They started to teach me about Jesus Christ and the gospel and I was baptized within the next three months. When they started teaching me I was intrigued and I wanted to learn about what they had to share. They caught my attention when they began to teach me the plan of salvation, also known as the plan of Happiness. Everything was so family orientated. They answered the questions that I always had, such as: " Where I came from, What my purpose in this life is, and what happens after this life?" As they continued to teach me I learned the blessings that my family and I could receive. Being a member has helped my family be more united and happier. It has helped us to resist temptation and stay grounded in life. I know that the church is true. I know that families can be together forever. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because it has helped me learn more about my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am the president of the women's organization which is known as the relief society. I coordinate social events for women ages 18 and up. I have learned a lot with this calling. It has helped me grow spiritually closer to my Heavenly Father. I am able to serve others on a daily basis. Through this calling I have gotten closer to others and seen them the way our Heavenly Father would.
