Hi I'm Margo

I grew up in Utah but not in a Mormon home, I became a Mormon at the age of 15.

About Me

I am a Mother of three and a Grandmother of 11. I love to quilt and do embroidery. I am now serving a Mission for the church at the Mormon Handcart Historic Site in Wyoming. I enjoy serving the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the gospel is true. I joined the church at the age of 15 because I had a Young Women leader that gave me the desire to join the church. I also had a good group of friends that encouaged me to join. I love the church and strive to live the life that the Savior would want me to live. I have learned through prayer and fasting that our prayers can be answered. Prayer is our direct contact with our Heavenly Father. Without his guiding hand in my life I don't know where life would have led me. It was hard in the begining to stay close to the gospel without support at home. The more I live the teachings of the gospel the easier it is to live by its teachings. The gospel has brought joy and happiness into my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving. We have served a mission to the Native American people in South Dakota for 18 months. We are now serving another mission at an Historic Site in Wyoming.

What do Mormons believe about family?

I feel we can know our Heavenly Father through prayer. Through communicating with him we come to a knowledge of his love for us. When we follow his teachings we become closer to him. Our relationship with our Heavenly Father can become as close to us as our Earthly Father. Show more Show less
