Hi I'm Josh

I'm a missionary. I'm from the Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing volleyball. I love the outdoors. I enjoy hiking the mountains and national parks. I love the beach. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering but I have decided recently to switch over to Electrical Engineering. My family is from the Philippines and moved to California when I was eight years old. I enjoy going to the beach and serving in the church. I have been called to serve in the Raleigh North Carolina as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love my family and I love the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have been a member all my life. I make a conscious decision everyday to follow Jesus Christ and try my best to obey all of Heavenly Father's commandments. Through sincere prayer and diligent scripture study, I have come to know of my Savior. I know, without a doubt, that He lives. He was sent here on earth by a loving Father to save the world from sin and to conquer death so that we too can one day do the same. Heavenly Father always answers prayers that come from His children who are willing to act on whatever answer He may give. I love my Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ. I owe them my life and I plan on living my life in a way that I can one day become like my Savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I was a Sunday school president. I love teaching others about the gospel. That calling has helped me grow as a teacher as I've trained the teachers in my ward. I enjoy spending time with my family. My family is one of the most important gifts that Heavenly Father has blessed me with. As much as I love teaching, I also enjoy learning, especially about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I do my best to uphold the standards that my Heavenly Father has set for His children. I love helping others, both temporally and spiritually.
