Hi I'm Matthew Young

I am from Arizona. I love music. I am a BYU student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy person. I grew up in a family of seven children. I have five older brothers and one younger sister. My family is the best! They are one of my greatest blessings! School was always easy for me. I got straight A´s until my Econ 110 class at BYU.... B+ :,( My favorite things to do are play or create music (piano, guitar, ukulele, base guitar, organ, I like music :)) , go to the lake, or be with my best friends KCRG! My four best friends and I all grew up in the same neighborhood with like a minute walk between our houses. It's great because I have always had like five families haha. My family has always gone to church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has really made me the happiest I can be! Well right now I'm a missionary in the Chile Antofagasta Mission also known as the Best Mission in the World. Basically all the mission is the northern third of the country of Chile. It also just happens to be the driest desert in the world. I'm from Arizona so it works out alright.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess I am a Mormon because I was raised in a Mormon family, but I have come to know the truth of the LDS church for myself. This is why I have chosen to serve a mission

How I live my faith

Being a missionary is the BEST!!! I lived my faith before the mission be living the commandments of God and loving it. I studied the scriptures, prayed, attended church, served others, loved to everyone. Right now I am sharing the Good News of Christ and His Atonement in Chile. As a missionary I have grown, felt and learned so much. The key part of my testimony is in the Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ, and the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the prophet Joseph Smith. Even though I wasn't there, I know that all of those things really happened. I know that Christ is my Savior and He lives and guides this church. My goal in life is to do as many good works as possible. It'll be fun. After my mission in Chile, I plan to find a wife and get married in the temple. The finding part will be the trick. For now, I am a 24/7 living testimony and representative of the Lord Jesus Christ.
