Hi I'm Michael Johnsen

California born Arizona raised, competitive wakeboarder, love driving fast cars, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a competitive Wakeboarder, and love being at the lake! I love racing my personal car! I am a huge adrenaline junky!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I have a testimony of how its true. There are many main points to the church and I have been blessed in many ways by them. In high school I didn't really choose the best friends. This presented me with challenges on whether I do what they think is cool or loose those friends. Many times it was hard to make the right choices, but ever time I did make the right choice I have been blessed. This has strengthened my testimony of the church, and because of that I have been given the opportunity to serve a mission. I grew up Mormon, but I still had to develop my own testimony. just because I was born into the church doesn't mean I have made the best decisions or that I have had the greatest testimony. Having these trial's is what made me build my testimony into my own.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my choices. To lots of people our actions speak louder than our words. I try everyday to make the best choices. many times it can be hard, but the blessings are better. During soccer season I had a hard time keeping the Sabbath day holy. A simple way that I was living my faith was to choose not to play games on Sunday. Me being a goal keeper I was one of the main parts of the team, and when I wasn't able to play in the final rounds of the tournament or play a regular season game on Sunday, my team felt like I let them down. This was hard for me but I know that because of that I now keep the Sabbath day holy and there's no way someone can change that. when I started working I made sure my managers knew I couldn't work on Sundays. they asked questions like why I couldn't, and this made great conversation about the church and how I live my faith. today I live my faith by serving a full time mission! I'm currently in the field teaching people about the church, and I'm helping them come closer to Christ as well as showing them how I live my faith!
