Hi I'm Caleb Glen Michael Holyoak

I'm a small town kid with a big family that loves this gospel. I can say that I'm proud to be country and I like it that way!

About Me

I was born and raised in the small town of Moab, Utah. I have spent my life hiking, jeeping, rafting, exploring, and basically enjoying the world Heavenly Father gave me in every way possible! I completed High School in 2012 and attended one year of college. I have been a member my whole life and I have always wanted to go on a mission! I got called to the Texas Houston South mission and i report to the M.T.C. on Jan. 28!!! I am very excited to serve the Lord and to further his work on this earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I choose to be. Not because my parents make me. Not because my family expects me to be. I am Mormon because I want to be. I have not found any other church that the teachings make me feel the way that I do with this church. There was a time when I didn't know if it was true or not. The more that I looked at it and really prayed the more I knew that it had to be true. The more I maybe didn't want it to be true the more I knew in my heart that it was. No other church has the spirit testified to me that the things i am hearing and reading and praying about are true. I know that the Book Of Mormon is true as well because the spirit has testified to me that it is through prayer and careful study.

How I live my faith

I live my faith a day at a time. By this i mean that every day i meet a new challenge and so every day my faith is tested and has to grow. I live my life as much in line with the gospel as I can so that I don't falter. I have not always had the strongest testimony but I do my best. Choosing to serve a mission is another way that i live my faith because as I'm finding out it takes a lot to be a missionary and I know it will be one of the hardest yet most rewarding things i have ever done in my life!
