Hi I'm Terry

I was born and raised in Utah. I am a mom of 6 amazing children, and a grandma to 31 wonderful grandchildren. I LOVE family!

About Me

I am a mom and a grandma. I love having my children come home to visit. We have annual reunions that are so awesome that no one in our family misses them, and no one wants to say good bye at the end. I love soft baby cheeks, little boys who want to be cowboys like their grandpa, watching my children raise their children up in righteousness, and hearing them all sing together in harmony. I love rappeling and trying new adventures. I like to cook for people who like to eat. I love my husband of 46 years who honors his priesthood and serves the Lord. I am excited to serve a mission with him in a few weeks. I love my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. They bless my life every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It's teachings have been the principles upon which my parents taught me. Family is everything to me. I know that we can be together as families forever if we make good choices and are obedient to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ while we are here on earth. Obedience to God's teachings is the only way to have true happiness. I know that Heavenly Father knows me by name. I know that He has a plan for me to succeed and be happy. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that we have a living prophet on the earth today who guides and directs the church. I know that we are each individually entitled to personal revelation if we live worthy. I know that I will live with my family eternally after this life. My father passed away this week, but the pain gives way to joy knowing that we can be together forever. My responsibility is to live worthy to be with them again. I hope to be able to share this knowledge with others who have not yet received it. Heavenly Father wants all of us to come back to live with him again.

How I live my faith

I love the calling I have at church. I get to spend time with the girls who are 8-11 years old. We learn to cook, sew, develop talents, take care of our physical bodies, respect others, etc. We sing and pray together and enjoy each others' company. I enjoy visiting with other women in our area. This gives us an opportunity to help and serve each other. We go to weekly church meetings and learn the principles of the gospel and share our testimonies with each other. This strengthens me and helps me to be a better person.
