Hi I'm Sarah

I've lived in seven different places throughout the United States. I love to take pictures and be outside. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I would say that I am a fairly typical young adult. I was happy to graduate high school and immediately began classes at a four year university. I am planning to major in some type of Business. I love running and being physically active. When I say I love running, I'm no fanatic or anything, but I just love to get outside and go! I also love food! Discovering new healthy foods is one of my hobbies. Recently I have become fixated with Kale and Quinoa. I have two younger sisters. My youngest sister is thirteen years younger than me, and I absolutely adore her! I have spent a lot of time teaching her and watching her grow and develop.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandparents were members of the church when I was younger, but my mom had fallen away from the church in her youth. So my sister and I would go to church when we visited family members, but that was it. When I was about ten years old, some missionaries from the church started teaching my mom, my sister and I. I felt happy about the messages that they shared. So I decided to be baptized. It was not until my Freshman year of high school that I really sought to know if what I was practicing was true. I began reading my scriptures and praying on a daily basis and because of those acts of faith, I received my answer from God that this is His church. Since that day I have been able to feel my Savior's love for me and I know that He is real. It is this knowledge that keeps me moving forward in my life, even when I mess up. I know that He loves me and that He wants to help me become better. I am able to be strong in this turbulent world because He is beside me, He is my strength.

How I live my faith

The most important way that I live my faith is that I try to be kind to everyone around me. I try my best to be patient and understanding. I listen when someone needs to talk, I give acts of service when they need it most. By treating everyone with love, I can feel the love that the Savior has for all of His children. I also live my faith by making it a priority in my life to draw closer to the Savior by reading the words of His prophets and praying to him.
