Hi I'm Steven

I grew up in Auburn, WA and I love Water Polo and Laser Tag. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I feel like my interests are well-rounded. All four years during High School, I played Water Polo for both the school and for clubs and I swam for 2 years. Another interest that I have is music. I played trombone for 8 years before I left to study at Brigham Young University. When I was 16, I received m Eagle. I like to believe that I am one of four children to the best parents ever. When I'm not spending time with my hobbies or family, I am spending my time with my Miniature Schnauzer, Leia who was named after Princess Leia from Star Wars. While I was at BYU, I decided to major in Nuero-Science but I'm not completely set on it. One of my "talents," if you can call them that, is my ability to play Super Smash Brothers. Overall, I'm not completely set on my future but I want to be an optometrist someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a "Mormon" because I know this church is true. This has been revealed to me through many small experiences that have built my testimony like bricks in a wall. I know that God answers my prayers, and that He cares fo me personally. Because I love Him, I have wanted to come to know Christ better. I know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ has revealed many truths and that the Book of Mormon contains many truths that have been lost throughout time due to an apostasy that occurred after the death of Christ and His appointed Apostles. I am also a Mormon because I believe that God has appointed living prophets to minister to us in these latter days. Through this, we can have living scripture and can receive instruction in an ever changing world. I know that Families can be together forever. I know this because of the many experiences throughout my life and I know for myself that these things are true.

How I live my faith

I am in the process of becoming a Full-Time LDS Missionary. I will be proselyting, serving, and teaching the wonderful people in the New England region. In the past, I have had leadership positions where I have set up service projects, activities, and camp outs. In my free time, I enjoy serving people, especially in the area of Seattle. One of my favorite memories is making care packages to give to people on the streets of Seattle. I know that my Savior loves them and would serve them if He were here.
