Hi I'm Brian

I am from the Philadelphia area. I am a student at Brigham Young University and I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hello! I am currently a freshman at Brigham Young University. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to study, but there is a little time for me to figure that out. I enjoy going to the beach and hanging out with my friends and family. I love to make people laugh and I love listening to music. I am an Eagle Scout and I will be serving a two-year mission for my church. I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am happy living the way Heavenly Father wants me to live. I go to church every Sunday with my family and with my roommates. There is always something at church that makes me feel peace. Every time I've had a real dark time in my life and I feel lonely, nervous, scared or any other feeling that makes me feel uncomfortable, I've always been able to turn to Jesus Christ and He helps me make it through difficult times. The reason I continue to live this Gospel is that I would not feel this peace without it. I always feel loved. It is a wonderful feeling.

How I live my faith

I am a home teacher and a family home evening leader. Being a family home evening leader means that I gather a group of my peers together one night a week so that we can enjoy the blessings of family time even though we are away from our actual families. We learn lessons about the Savior Jesus Christ and we participate in wholesome activities. We have fun as a family and we have all become very close. There are many other people who also serve as family home evening leaders. No one is left out. As a home teacher I get to meet with a few students who live on my floor or in the next building over and I usually help teach a lesson about Jesus Christ's teachings and I check up on these students to make sure their lives are running smoothly. I teach these lessons with another guy on my floor. Everyone on our floor has a companion and teaching assignment, so again, no one is left out. We all work together to make sure everyone understands that the Lord loves them.
