Hi I'm Zach Boyce

I'm from Boston. I'm a soccer player and a singer. I'm a missionary in Taiwan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19 and currently serving as a full time missionary in the beautiful nation of Taiwan! I'm here for two years serving the people of Taiwan and the Lord. Growing up I loved to play soccer and picked up rugby in high school. I love watching baseball and football and am a die-hard Red Sox and BYU football fan. I attended BYU for a semester before leaving for Taiwan and am majoring in Neuroscience, with a dream of being a professor and doing research. I love to sing, and am often found singing regardless of the time or place. I've had the privilege of working a lot with A Capella over the years. I'm an Eagle Scout, having done a project helping to improve education at a nearby elementary school by labeling all of the natural plants in the area to be used by teachers in explaining about the natural habitat of the area. I really love to have fun and serve all the time!

Why I am a Mormon

Because I did exactly what I am right now inviting every person I meet to do. That is read the Book of Mormon and pray about it. I'm not saying believe me right away. Don't trust my answer, you really do need to in a way, as the chinese put it, 靠自己, or trust in yourself. You need to try personally. When I did, I felt something that was incredibly powerful. I knew that the book was true, and that therefore the God which it testified of was also. I knew that the prophet who translated it was truly inspired of god, and that the church that he established truly is God's church. As I continue to pray and follow the commandments of the lord, my testimony, or in other words knowledge of these things is renewed daily. I truly do see the hand of the lord in my life every single day. It may be small, but is there without fail.

How I live my faith

I'm leaving on a two year mission to Taiwan soon, but right now I am a local missionary teaching a man in my neighborhood about the church. I also work in the Provo, Utah temple a couple days a week and help serve people there. On top of my official work, I also study the scriptures every day, and try to find opportunities to serve as often as I can.
