Hi I'm Allegra Adams-Hart

I'm a native Californian. I'm homeschooled. I'm a fiber artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am a fiber artist. I knit, crochet, spin yarn, sew, quilt, the whole shebang. I first learned to knit when I was 8 years old and it kinda just grew from there! I love to read, listen to music of all kinds and cartooning. You'll often find me in our library deep inside a book with my knitting nearby me. Either that or sketching out my next comic strip!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the doctrines and principles speak to my heart. I love to read so, naturally, I read many different kinds of books. Some of them I loved, some, not so much. But the Book of Mormon speaks to my heart and soul differently than any other book that I have ever read. I know in my heart that it is the truth. I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working with the kids 3-12 years of age in primary. Little kids are such fun to be around! I also had the most wonderful opportunity to be my Ward Family History Leader in my college YSA (Young Single Adult) ward. It's a calling that I totally didn't expect, but it became a wonderful experience that I learned so much from.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Allegra Adams-Hart
We need a Savior because we are imperfect. It's a fact of life that we will sin or make mistakes. It says in the scriptures that no unclean thing can enter God's (our Heavenly Father's) presence. Since we will undoubtedly make mistakes we need a way to become clean again and be able to dwell with our Heavenly Father once more. Jesus Christ suffered the consequences for all our sins when he performed the Atonement. Through the Atonement we can once more become clean and worthy to enter into our Heavenly Father's presence.
