Hi I'm Caleb Roberts

I grew up in several cities surrounding Dallas, Texas. I love to make people laugh and to share the gospel.

About Me

I grew up in Texas all of my life and I love the Lone star state! Texas isn't all just cowboys and country music though I do enjoy going to rodeos and listening to country music, but the people are generally nicer than most and have a lot of close knit communities and I love that. I went to a high school in a small town and discovered my love for theatre and videography. I was in plays all throughout high school and did speech and debate constantly. My favorite part of high school was competing in nationals for theatre and ranking nationally among the best in the nation. Another achievement was making a short film that was shown at a red carpet premiere in Austin, Texas. I started my own business right out of high school and am a Corporate Video Editor/Producer and Freelance Videographer. Though I am putting my business on hold which I enjoy so very much to serve a Mission in the Belgium/Netherlands mission for two years and I am so excited! Oh and I have an older brother and younger brother and sister and I am the first son to go on a mission in my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was a Mormon born into the church which means my family was already mormon when i was born. I am actually a 7th generation Mormon. So it has been in my family for quite some time. Even though it has been in my family forever my family still made sure I had my own testimony of the church and didn't just join it because it has been in my family for so long. In the Mormon church we believe that at age 8 kids are aware enough to know right from wrong and choose if they would like to be baptized into the Mormon church. So when I turned 8 I knew it was time to make sure I really wanted to be a Mormon. So I went in my room and prayed for an answer and if God would really want me to be baptized. I remember a distinct feeling and warmth in my heart and knowing that this was the church I needed to join. All throughout my life I have had more spiritual experiences like that solidifying my belief in out lord Jesus Christ and our Father in heaven. If you would like to see a video of my testimony here is a link to a video I made a years ago in high school https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nr6ayalCTkU

How I live my faith

I constantly share the gospel as part of how I live my faith. In high school i was know as "that mormon kid" if people didn't know my name because I was very vocal about my faith and I loved to answer anyones questions about mormons! In high school I even had the privilege of baptizing my best friend into our church and am about to baptize another one of my friends from high school. I mostly live my faith this way because I have tried to prepare for a mission my whole life. As a kid I would dream about being a missionary and how exciting it would be to just go out and share the gospel and see the joy it brought to other peoples lives. I also live my faith by going to church every sunday and participating in the classes discussions. My favorite part of how I live my faith is being around people with my same standards, since I graduated high school I go to another mormon meetinghouse where young single adults ages 18 to 30 meet on sundays for church and mondays to hang out and have fun in the evening. I love spending time with the people who hold my same values and it is uplifting to me.
