Hi I'm Kennedy

I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. I'm a singer and musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been singing since I was 3 years old, piano at 8, and ukulele in the last few years. Music is my saving grace. I've always geared toward the artistic in my life, whether it be drawing, writing, painting, fashion or musical theatre. Recently i've discovered hiking and fallen in love with travel; exploring all the world has. I'm planning to attend school in radio broadcasting.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the gospel since I was born but I was not always solid in what I was doing. After high school I struggled to attend and live the way I had been taught because it was now my choice. After a few years of being off and on like a lightbulb; I moved in with member girls and starting fresh gave church my all. I attended every meeting, every activity and class I could manage. One thing that always brought me back over and over was the teaching that there is life after death, and through the gospel of Christ families can be reunited in the next life and be together for eternity. Having lost my father when I was 10 years old in a car accident, and knowing that now to be true has given me such amazing hope and peace in my day to day. I know that the teachings of the church are true and real not because I was taught my whole life but because I came to know them for myself. Through Christ and his restored church on the earth today all things we need to be truly happy are possible.

How I live my faith

I participate at church by organizing activities for the women of the church. Service projects, self improvement and fellowshipping one another. I also share my musical talents in church meetings, not so much to perform but to express my beliefs and faith in the best way i know.
