Hi I'm Alisa

I am a student at Brigham Young University. I love theater performance and I am Taylor Swift's number one fan. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite color is red and I love to cook. I am currently choosing a major at Brigham Young University. I am 20 years old and a sophomore in college. I was born into the LDS faith and find great joy in living the principles found in the church. I have an older sister who is serving an LDS mission in Berlin, Germany and three younger brothers that still live at home. I love music, dancing and I have three pet fish (Timmy, Cosmo, and Daisy)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know He was sent for me, died for my sins and is my advocate with the Father. I am a Mormon because I find great joy and incredible peace in living and following the teachings of the LDS church. I know the Book of Mormon is the most correct and true book we have on earth, I love to partake of its words daily. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and the keys he held are on the earth today in the hands of the Modern-day Prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I love temples and the sacred peace and guidance it provides. I love the power of prayer and love this gospel with all my heart. In short, I am a Mormon because I love this gospel and it is a source of true and enuring happiness.

How I live my faith

I am the sacrament meeting chorister in my Student Ward in Provo. I regularly attend church meetings and activities and love the happy and accepting environment that this church provides. I live my faith by serving others and making scripture and prayer a regular part of my day.
