Hi I'm Hailey Daniels

I grew up in Ogden, Utah. I'm a college tennis player. Called to serve in the Reno, Nevada mission Spanish speaking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Hailey, I am a happy college student and enjoy the simple things in life. I am an college tennis player and love the sport of tennis. My passion for the game has led me to being a tennis coach. Nothing brings me more happiness then the friendships and individuals I am surrounded by, they are the angels that touch my life and keep me smiling. I am grateful for strangers that turn into friends and friends that turn into family. I am a very active individual and love doing all sorts of exercise from swimming to running, and hiking to (of course) playing tennis. When I was 15 years old I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Rheumatoid Arthritis is an autoimmune disease causing inflammation in the joints and resulting in painful deformity and immobility. Having this disease has been a struggle, especially as a collegiate athlete. Every day is a battle. Some days are easier than others. I have found great strength and peace through this gospel as I have encountered this trial. I know that no matter where this condition may impact my life, God will always have a plan for me. He knows our best interest at heart. I have found great strength and blessings through the grace of Jesus Christ. I know that he lives and loves each and every one of us. He knows us personally. He knows our pain and struggles, he has suffered for them.

Why I am a Mormon

Being apart of this church I have felt nothing but pure happiness and joy. It has given me strength through the difficult struggles in life. I do not know all the answers to life's questions, but I cannot deny the feelings that I feel when I go to church, go to the temple, read the scriptures, say my prayers, partake of the sacrament, etc. I have found hope and direction through this gospel. It has lead me to where I am today. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel because I have tested it out and simply asked God, as it says in James 1:5. "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." God sincerely cares about each and every one of us. He is aware of every aspect of our life. He sent his son Jesus Christ to take on the sins of the world so that we can return to live with him again. Because of Jesus Christ all things are possible.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving as a missionary sharing the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ to those I come in contact with. I love this gospel. It has brought so much joy and happiness to my life. As a student athlete I live my faith on and off the court. Giving all thanks to god and dedicating my life to him. I am taking a break from playing to serve a full-time mission and share this message of hope, peace and joy. I have served as a seminary teacher teaching young high school students doctrines and principles of the gospel. I have seen first hand how studying the doctrines and principles of the scriptures touches lives. I have seen how it has impacted the students that I have taught. I have also served as a worker in the temple. The temple brings so much peace and serenity in your life, and is a dedicated special place that allows us to be closer to god. There are many blessing that come from keeping your sights set on the temple. I am so grateful that my family is sealed for time and all eternity because of the powers and blessings of the temple.
