Hi I'm Kristin

I am a stay at home mom with 8 children. I enjoy spending time with my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah as the eldest of 6 children. I am the mother of 8 children, ages 29 to 12 years old. I have lived in the Southern part of the United States for the past 28 years (Florida, Tennessee and Virginia). I love cooking for my family and volunteering at our elementary school's library. I especially love to travel! I have visited 50 states and 6 continents. (Someday I hope to visit Antarctica!)

Why I am a Mormon

My ancestors left their beautiful homeland of Denmark to join the Mormon Church. Because of them and my other ancestors (from England, Scotland, Iceland), I was born into a family who had embraced the Mormon faith. I have had many nice experiences throughout my life that have led me to know in my heart that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Savior's church. Being a Mormon makes me very happy!

How I live my faith

I am lucky enough to live in one of the best small towns ever. I love the people in my small community. Recently, my husband and I accepted a call to serve as missionaries in Colorado and we've had many opportunities to talk about our church. We are happy to tell others why we are willing to leave home, school and work to answer the call of a prophet of God. Currently I teach the youth in our church. Every morning at 6:30 am, I can be found teaching the Old Testament to 5 happy noisy teenagers.
