Hi I'm Kelli

I grew up in Sandy, UT. I have a Bachelor of Science in Animation from the Art Institute of Salt Lake City. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have an older sister and a younger brother. I am the only one that has gotten a degree. I have my generals from Salt Lake Community Collage and a Bachelor of Science in Animation from the Art Institute of Salt Lake City. I love the great out doors. I love hiking, fishing and camping. I love to just sit back in the summer time around the camp fire and just look up at the stars.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Unitarian. Back in 2005 I moved to Florida to go work at Disney World as a CP (Collage Program). I was over there for 8 months and I loved every minute of it. When I got home from Florida I didn't feel like going back to my old church. This went on for about two years. I did believe in God so I said a short simple prayer asking him that if there were a religion He would like to learn more of that I would do so. Two weeks later there was a knock on my door. It was the Elder LDS Missionaries. Now you have to understand that at my house it is so isolated, we don't even get trick or treaters for Halloween. At first I was listening to the Elders on what they were telling me. But it was just to understand the LDS faith. So when the Elders asked if I wanted to get baptized I said thanks but no thanks. I did tell them that I would continue to read the Book of Mormon. I ended up reading the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price and the Doctrine and Covenants. I then knew that the Book of Mormon was true and I wanted to get baptized. I talked with the Sister missionaries and we set a date. The Elders were invited and attended. So when someone asks me the question "who helped you to join the church"? I say God. He knew what religion I needed to join before I did. He is an all know, all seeing Father in Heaven and I trust Him full heartedly.

How I live my faith

I love having callings in my ward. Right now I am a Ward Missionary. I love it because ones a week we go knocking on doors and talk to new members or our ward. I also love to do visiting teaching. I love it when get to know new people and talk about the gospel and what it means to them. I love to hear people's testimonies because it just makes mine that much stronger.
