Hi I'm Kimball Pace

Grew up in good ol Utah. Serving a mission in the Michigan Lansing mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah, raised LDS by a great mixed family. I have 2 brothers, 2 step-brothers, and 2 step-sisters. My parents were divorced when I was 9. My dad remarried and as a result, a loving step mother and four more siblings were added into my life. I love and strive to be like my father, mother, and stepmother. I grew up in the LDS church and lived the regular Utah Mormon lifestyle, but true conversion to the gospel came gradually. I graduated from Davis High School and really enjoyed it. I loved playing the saxophone in the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and the Marching band. I always pictured myself serving a mission. In July of 2014 I was called to labor the Michigan Lansing Mission. I know that I was called to this mission by revelation from God, our Heavenly Father. This mission is for me. And I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this church is true. I have had the opportunity to learn. To accept or reject the teachings of Jesus Christ, and all of the prophets before and after Him. I have chosen to continue on as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have asked God. He has manifested truth unto me by the power of the Holy Ghost, which is the same Holy Ghost in biblical times as well as modern times. It is the same Holy Ghost that can be felt anywhere in the universe today. I know that by keeping the commandments and by making sacred covenants with our Heavenly Father, we will be exalted beyond measure. I know that it is only under the proper authority that we can make these covenants. Our Heavenly Father is literally the father of our spirits, he loves us and wants us to experience all of His blessings in this life, and to return to live with Him.

How I live my faith

Since serving my mission, many people have pointed out to me that I grew up in the gospel and never experienced what It's like to experience "true conversion." Or that I should consider what other churches teach before dedicating my life to it. Which is true to an extent. But just because I was baptized at 8 years old, or that I went to church pretty much every Sunday and engaged in the regular Mormon lifestyle does not mean that I was truly converted to the gospel. True conversion came by living the gospel. Living the standards that are revealed to prophets from God. I live my faith by having faith. Because faith is an action word. I try to do everything I can to prove my love for this gospel, my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. Joseph's message can be summarized in two words "God Speaks." He spoke anciently, he spoke to Joseph, and he can speak to me. I know that this church is true and I know that anyone seeking the truth can find it through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Kimball Pace
Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. Just like all the prophets in the Bible. In the book of Amos chapter 3 verse 7 it says that God will reveal his secrets to his servants the prophets. Which is what happened with Joseph Smith. He saw God and His son Jesus Christ, he was called as a prophet. He translated the Book of Mormon. The priesthood, or the authority to act in God's name, was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. The gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. Joseph's message can be summarized in two words "God speaks." He spoke anciently, he spoke to Joseph, and he can speak to you. Show more Show less
