Hi I'm Rachel

I was born in Alabama, I've been doing Korean martial arts for over 8 years. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in Alabama and moved to Utah when I was 5. I am currently a university student going into nursing so I can be a pediatric nurse practitioner some day. I am a third degree black belt in a martial art called Intermountain Hapkido and I am an assistant instructor at my gym. I have played the piano since I was 8, I love drawing, running, and spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always felt so happy as a member of the Church. There is such peace and joy that comes from living the teachings of the Gospel and knowing that families are forever. With family members passing away that are dear to me, knowing that I will be able to be with them after this life brings just joy and hope into my life and I wouldn't want to know anything different than what I do. Living the commandments has brought me the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost which has led me to do things I could not do on my own. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church on the earth. We have a Heavenly Father who loves us and wants us to return to Him which is why He sent His Son to come to this earth. The Savior truly did Atone for our sins and knows everything we go through in this life so that He can show us perfect love which is better than any earthly comfort known to man. Joseph Smith restored the Gospel on the earth by the power of God and started the pattern for modern day revelation and living day prophets which are here today. Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet today and if we heed his council we will be blessed in ways we cannot understand. I know the Lord is involved in even the smallest details of our lives and LOVES us beyond all comprehension!

How I live my faith

I am currently a Sunday school teacher in my ward and I teach out of the scriptures the doctrines that we believe in. I am a visiting teacher with one of my best friends in my ward and I love sharing the gospel with others around me and teaching those that are older and younger than me.
