Hi I'm Angela!

I love my big family and swimming, I'm a student at USU, I am serving a mission in the Ohio Cincinnati mission, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have lived in Riverton Utah with my family for the past 18 years. My parents grew up LDS and raised us active members of the church. I have been home schooled, gone to private, chatter, and public schools (personally I prefer public). I played basketball for Paradigm and Swam for Riverton High School. I went to state in both sports! I love athletics and love being active! I love hiking and backpacking Twin Peaks with my awesome family! I have been to a lot of cool places around the world because of my dad's work, but my favorite place to go is Lake Powell! We go there every summer and I wish I could move there! I am studying to be a PE and psychology teacher for middle school and/or high school at USU. I am currently serving an 18 mission in the Ohio Cincinnati mission! I love my family and my religion and I am grateful to be here serving the people I love in my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that my Heavenly father loves me and I love him. I believe in Jesus Christ and I know that through his atonement I am saved. I believe in being Christ-like, in being charitable, and in sharing love and happiness with others. I know that I feel happier and more sure of who I am when I follow the commandments given to me by the Lord. I know that if I continue to live my life with steadfastness, I will be given the blessings promised to me. I know that families are forever, and that gives me the strength I need to live worthily so I can raise my kids in righteousness. I know that God loves me and has sacrificed to give me a way so that I can come back to live with Him. I know He is always by my side, and guiding me. This gospel gives me the strength and knowledge I need! I am a Mormon because it is the truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to keep the spirit in my heart always by praying as much as I can and reading the Book of Mormon everyday. I love going to church every Sunday and going to the temple as much as I can. I try to be like Jesus in all that I do and say (that's very hard but I do the best I can).

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Have you ever thought there must be something more to life than just living day to day? There is—much more. Your life has a divine purpose. God, your Heavenly Father, has prepared a marvelous plan for your happiness. When you realize that God has a plan for you, it is easier to understand why you are on this earth. God wants all of His children to progress and become more like Him. This time on Earth provides opportunities for you to grow and progress. Coming here allows you to: ◾Receive a physical body. ◾Exercise agency and learn to choose between good and evil. ◾Learn and gain experience that will help you become more like your Heavenly Father. ◾Form family relationships that may become eternal. By following our Heavenly Father’s plan, you—like all of His children—can someday return to live with Him and with your loved ones. You can have greater peace in this life and eternal joy in the life to come. Show more Show less
