Hi I'm Cam

I am the father of 5 amazing kids and the husband to the greatest wife in the world! I create. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father. My family is my world. I love teaching, creating, playing sports, and being around good people. I love the temple! The temple is an important part of my life because it gives me comfort and joy knowing that my family can be together forever as we follow Jesus Christ. Nothing is better then being with my wife and kids, we do everything together. Camping, lacrosse, gym hockey, dodgeball, service projects, building things, inventing things, disc golf, bike rides, wall ball, cooking, jumping on the tramp, dancing, eat popcorn, and laughing through it all. I have amazing parents. They adopted two of my sisters, one when she was 34 years old. They are the kindest, most patient, and giving people I have ever met. They are fantastic Grandparents! My dad served a mission in Germany and my mother served in France. An interesting fact about my mom is that she served alongside Mitt Romney. I served a two year mission in Poland, it was incredible. I love the Polish people. I received my MBA when I was 24 and have been starting and helping businesses ever since. I am running a business that helps provide eye care to people around the world. I enjoy longboarding, lacrosse, swinging in a hammock, and playing disc golf. I am currently building two disc golf courses for our community. I enjoy asking questions about everything. I really enjoy getting to know an individual's story, who they are, where they came from, and how they view the world.

Why I am a Mormon

You tell me! Why would I want to be a Mormon, a member of a church that: • Teaches and testifies of Jesus Christ? 2 Nephi 2:26 • Helps me develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven? Moroni 10:32 • Helps me understand where I came from, why I am here, and what awaits me after I die? Jarom 1:2 • As in days of old, is led by a Prophet who speaks with God? Amos 3:7 • Teaches me Eternal Commandments, which bring me immense joy when I live them? Alma 26:16 • Has the sealing power and authority to link my family together for eternity? D&C 110:13-16 • Helps me be a better husband and father? Ephesians 5:25 • Inspires me to help people all around me, and gives me the strength to do so? • Feeds, clothes, and takes care of people around the world 24/7? The Church Welfare Program • Is set up exactly like the church Christ set up while on earth? Ephesians 2:19-20 • Encourages me to give to the poor and needy? Jacob 2:17-19 • Requires me to be kind, honest, faithful to my wife, loving to my children, and Christian? I am a Mormon because I studied it our in my mind and have prayed with real intent to know if this was the Lord's church on the earth. Honestly, I never did have one converting moment in my life in response to said prayers, however, as I have tried to live my life in accordance with the church's teachings I have come to know they are the Lord's teachings and this is truly His church. For me it has been in the doing, James 1:22, that I have gained a knowledge of it's divinity. Words cannot express how I have felt, likewise, I cannot count the many times or number of ways I have had heaven touch my mind and heart in a most wonderful experience that confirms to me with absolute certainty that this is the Lord Jesus Christ's church, it has once again been restored to the earth, and that He Himself through His prophet leads and guides it.

How I live my faith

I love sharing the gospel with others! To me, the gospel is: The good news that Jesus Christ came to earth, lived a perfect life, atoned for the sins of mankind, and lives today as a resurrected being who knows and loves and can help everyone. I am currently the Ward Mission Leader in my ward. Bed racing, making dinner for someone who could really use it, playing basketball, having a backyard concert, starting water fights, playing soccer, weeding, launching candy from a cannon, playing dodgeball, getting the neighborhood together to eat popcorn or salsa or pie or crepes or smores, and anything else I can think of to get people together are just some of my responsibilities. I meet together often with my ward missionaries to discuss who needs help in any way and what we can do about it. We strive to make the lives of our friends and neighbors better and hope that what we do will help them have a closer relationship with their Father in Heaven and His Son. Creating friendships and taking care of each other is what I feel Christ did throughout his life, and sharing that with everyone I meet is so incredibly rewarding. I love how I feel as I talk with others about Jesus Christ and his ability to succor and bless us. Through Jesus Christ, our Savior, we can have full and lasting joy no matter what our past, current, or future circumstances may be. So many wonderful friendships and experiences have come into my life as I meet with others and talk about the gospel. It really is wonderful to tangibly feel the love that God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ have for all of us. I am so grateful for experiences that show me just how personally they know us and how genuinely they care for us.
