Hi I'm Liahona Bons

You've guessed it, I'm a Mormon. Specifically, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I have hobbies in art and music. I love to draw and be creative. I do pencil art, colored pencil, comics, and I paint. I love playing musical instruments. The piano is great, I loved the clarinet, especially the bass clarinet, and wow do I love the tenor saxophone. I like to be friendly and help others have a good time. To bring them up when they feel down.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this faith and still am a part of it. I feel of its truth and know if its goodness. I know what I feel, and I believe it to be true. All the scriptures, what I am taught, and how it helps me come closer to my Savior, is true. It is an inviting religion that does not bind or force me to do or not do things. It makes me free, and gives me the choice of what I want to do and believe. I chose to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I do what I can to be active in my faith. I try to greet in a friendly manner, I will go to some of the activities that bring me closer with the other members as well as to the Lord, I will go out with a companion or friend to teach another and to give aid where we can. Sometimes all I can do is show that I support.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Liahona Bons
The Atonement of Jesus Christ was His sacrifice of Himself, that He may atone, or make up for our sins. There was no other good enough, or perfect enough to make such a sacrifice. He was perfect and He willingly made this sacrifice, because of His love for us. It was so we may be made clean again, and return to the presence of our God. Show more Show less
