Hi I'm Jason Fisher

I was born in Idaho and raised in New Mexico. I worked at Wendy's before receiving my mission call. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read books and play video games. Everyone I meet thinks I have a sense of humor. I'm very good at strategy games, especially board games. My favorite board game is Pandemic. Up to four people can play at one time. The players are all part of a disease fighting team, trying to find the cures to four diseases popping up around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I have studied the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I have considered the messages they contain, attempted to live the principles taught in them, and prayed to God to know if the message is true. I know by the feelings in my heart that it is. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and want to serve Him all that I can.

How I live my faith

I help my dad teach an 11-12 year old class at church. I don't have an official calling because I will be embarking on a mission for my church for two years soon.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Jason Fisher
The bible is the writings of prophets from previous times. It is separated into two different parts: the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament contains many writings of prophets who came before Jesus Christ, such as Moses, Solomon, and Jeremiah. The New Testament is the teachings of Jesus Christ and his apostles. We believe the Bible to be the word of God, along with the Book of Mormon. In 2 Corinthians 13:1 it reads, "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." The Lord works in the same ways today as he did previously. Show more Show less
