Hi I'm Cheyenne

I am from Utah. I'm passionate about music, theater, and dance! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello there! I am a young, single adult and I love to perform. I have begged for the spotlight ever since I was a kid. Musicals are my thing. I recently played Peter Pan in a show and it was the most thrilling experience of my life. Who wouldn't want to play the part of a cocky, snot-nosed boy? Not to mention the flying! What I love about theater is working with people of all ages to create something beautiful for more people. It's a family unit and everyone comes together to encourage, teach, support, and lift one another. Isn't that what life's about?

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but even so, I knew I had to gain my own testimony of the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There were times I lost my way and forgot who I was. During those times, I felt completely alone, angry, depressed, frustrated, and empty. I tried to handle everything on my own, convinced that the only person who could make the best decisions for me was myself. Boy, was I so wrong. I was stagnant and seriously unhappy. At my lowest point, I turned to my Heavenly Father in prayer every day and started to follow the teachings of the church once again. Instantly, the light of Christ gradually started coming back into my life, I was in-tune with spiritual promptings, was open to feel God's love and found direction in my life again, but most of all, I remembered who I was. I am a Mormon because when I follow the teachings of this church and try to be good and do good, I remember who I truly am. I am a precious and beloved daughter of Heavenly Father and it is my duty and privilege to serve and thank Him every day for the gift of life, knowledge, and my brother, Jesus Christ. My spirit remembers my heavenly home when I live this gospel. Even before I was sent to this Earth, I deeply loved my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, my family and my heavenly home and I have always wanted them to be proud of me. Now that I am in this life, my desire to please them, to be blissfully happy, to love and be loved, to be a positive influence in the lives of everyone around me has not changed. Happiness and wholesomeness is so important to me and when I live this gospel, I feel like a ray of sunshine and I am so happy! With my Father by my side, I am a brilliant star in the sky! I am a warm breeze! I am sunshine and laughter! I am Cheyenne Lee, and I am happy to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to attend church every Sunday. I try to pray and read my scriptures every day. I try to be diligent in my calling as a church mission leader where I focus on attending to the spiritual and temporal needs of the members in my church. I am not perfect, but the Lord does not expect perfection. He just expects me to try my best and I know that He knows what my best entails. I live my faith by showing my love to others and by cultivating the light of Christ within me so that people can see His light through my eyes and my actions. I believe that we were all sent to this earth to be tempted, tried, and tested and to prove our love and devotion to our Heavenly Father by continually seeking Him and avoiding sin and sorrow to the best of our ability. I also believe that we were sent here to be a support and a light to those who have lost their way and have forgotten who they are as sons and daughters of God, and to bring knowledge to those who have never learned that beautiful truth. I want people to know that they are not alone, that God loves them more than they can even comprehend, and that He wants His children to be happy beyond measure. I know that as long as we try our best to live His teachings and follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we will be truly blessed.
