Hi I'm Linda Kay

I was a flight attendant for 30 years. I love to travel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom to ten. I have one adopted daughter from a previous marriage and eight stepchildren (3 sons and 5 daughters) and one biological son from my current marriage - ten. I have been married to my husband for 34 wonderful years. I was a flight attendant for 29 years and have been retired from that profession 21 years. Before flying, I attended the University of Utah. I love to read, do needle work and spend time with my children and 19 grandchildren. Life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon since I was ten years old. Not always active and sometimes rebellious, but I have always been drawn back to the tenants of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as practiced in His Church. I love the Prophet Joseph Smith and his commitment to truth. There is a light that shines in my life as I adhere to and practice the principles that are clearly taught and encouraged. I feel my faith grow stronger as I study the Book of Mormon. I feel clarity in my life as I listen to a living Prophet, Thomas S Monson, provide counsel and encouragement in these perilous times. I feel safe and loved as I serve in his Holy House. I feel supported and accepted as I attend church with my neighbors and friends. I am a Mormon because I love the Lord and feel his love for me in the context of my life.

How I live my faith

I am presently a group leader for an Addition Recovery Program for those suffering from addiction to alcohol, tobacco, drugs and any other form. I serve with my husband and we love that we are able to share the principles of recovery from a gospel perspective. I am a visiting teacher and enjoy the relationship with women in my area in the intimate setting of a home. With years of experience I have enjoyed teaching children, teenagers, young adults, as well as adult classes in the framework of church assignments. My husband and I are presently preparing to serve a full time mission.
