Hi I'm Amelia

I grew up in Las Vegas. I am studying biology and hope to become a physician's assistant. I am a Mormon.

About Me

In my family there are two sets of twins and i am the only single girl (but not the only girl in my family). Some of my hobbies include snowboarding, painting/drawing, playing volleyball, and crafting. I have done a variety of crafts. I have made jewelry, painted pottery, made scrapbooks, and etc. I love classical music and instrumental music but i also like modern day music. I am also a nanny! Ever since my twin little sisters were born I have just loved little kids! Babies are my favorite kids to watch! Now that I am older and in college, I feel like I am getting a preview to my future life with my own kids every time I nanny for a family!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to live with my Heavenly Father again and by the covenants I make in this everlasting gospel of Christ I can return to my Heavenly Father and Christ. This is the restored gospel of Christ and I can feel His love for me. We all can feel of Christ's love for us by simply doing what He asks of us and that is to "come, follow me" (Luke 18:22). I know through Christ's atonement I and all the people that have lived, and ever will live can be forgiven of their sins. I know Christ knows me individually and everyone else individually because we lived with Him before we were born on earth. We can show our love to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ be serving others, praying, living the gospel, being virtuous, and much more.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. For example, I read my scriptures, attend institute/other religion classes offered at BYU-Idaho, pray to our Father in Heaven, go to the temple, and share my testimony with others. I also love to write in my journal and I love to write down the spiritual experiences I have because I like to go back and read those spiritual experiences again because I can feel that spirit I felt when I was having those experiences.
