Hi I'm Treinamonet Tonumaipea

I'm a missionary of the Texas Fort Worth mission. I'm Samoan. Sandwhiches and cereal are best. Love to have fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family originated from the island of Samoa and since then we have lived and enjoyed our lives in Utah. I grew up in a big family. We were very family oriented and it was really fun to have family over that you get to hang with. I grew up just getting along with people. I love to be able to make friends and be able to listen to them. I think those who have impacted my life were some of those really close friends. I always wanted to go to school, but after a long time and thoughts about what I should do, I was given a call to teach the Spanish people in the Texas Fort Worth Mission. The best mission ever. Throughout my life my parents taught me to always be strong and trust in the Lord. For me, it was a time for finding out if it was really possible. I knew what words to say, but I didn't believe it. Because I grew up in such a strong family in the gospel, I am blessed to be able to enjoy life more. I love to laugh. If I had a motto it would be, " you have not enjoyed all if you have not laughed at all." Laughing is what defines me. I also love music, and just listening to good music lifts my spirits up. I love to be able to be outdoors and in nature. It really puts my mind somewhere else and not in the world. I love being who I am and I don't think that anyone can change that, except for the man upstairs. I grew to know who my Father in Heaven is. And it's awesome.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church, but that doesn't explain why I am a Mormon. As a teenager, I was really having a hard time really asking why I am part of this church. Why I am being taught these things that I don't see in my life using. I wanted to be independent and just have things go my way. I tried to do that but it didn't really work out for me. I was a stubborn teenager and just wanted to see the world. Well I got to see the world, but it was a dark place for me. I was in darkness. I felt like I wasn't loved. I felt like I wasn't good enough, that I was just not wanted and then I felt like I don't belong here. I started to do the dumbest things in my life, but then one day all of that changed. I was so tired of being in darkness, and so tired of not feeling the way I see my Mormon friends feel. They were always happy and joyful and I wanted that for myself. I, then started seeking for the help of the Lord. I knelt down and prayed with all my heart and asked him to help me. I was in total darkness. I wanted to see the light, but I needed help seeing it. I stood up and felt this calming peace overcome me. It felt like I was loved and that I needed to change. So I did. I came out of that darkness and started to see that light. My testimony grew in my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am now happily sharing this message with all those who are seeking for that spiritual need. I am so happy to share this with all of you.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary of the Fort Worth Texas Mission. I love it in Texas, going about others to share the wonderful message we have. We are striving to share this message to the world and to share with them the blessings that our heavenly father has given us. Every day I learn something new in the people we come in contact with and teach. They have strengthened my faith in our loving Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. When I see the new friends that we have contacted feel the joy of this message I start to feel this wonderful joy for them. Because they know that this message is true. Great miracles can be done through Heavenly Father when we have faith and trust in him. I am so happy to be a part of this gospel and be able to declare the words of God to all those who want to hear. Growing up I had wonderful parents who taught me that not only church was important but also my relationship with my Father in Heaven. We did family scripture study and family prayers and even family home evenings. As I come closer to who God is to me, I come closer to knowing who I really am. I love studying the scriptures. Talking in prayer to my Father. I love helping others come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel. This is how I live my faith. Following in the footsteps of Christ is the best way to find eternal happiness. I would invite all people to read the Book of Mormon. It is true and the words of God. It is an amazing book that Heavenly Father has provided for us. The pray and seek for his counsel through the Holy Spirit. I love this gospel so much. It means everything to me.
