Hi I'm Aaron

I'm from Utah. I work with computers, cattle, and media. History, politics, music, & religion interest me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a fifth generation cattle rancher from Utah. My ancestors were some of the first to enter the state with the Mormon pioneers. Aside from the history lesson, I'm a college graduate with a degree in History and Political Science. I aspire to create, to do things that make people smile, laugh, or experience emotional catharsis. I'm also an avid user of Twitter, and was featured in NPR's social media study on the "New Boom" generation, more commonly referred to as the millenials. It was an eye opening experience for me, as while I'd never left the church, I'd not realized how much being a Mormon meant to me.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I suppose it's simply because I know that being anything else would deprive me of the peace I've found in my faith. It is as much a part of me as is my eye color, or my fingerprints. I've grown up in faith, but was only able to truly appreciate it after attempting to live my life without it.

How I live my faith

I'm "technically gifted," according to the myriad people who seek me out to fix various computer issues for them. This extends occasionally to lending a hand with various church functions. I'm also proud to say that I'm a full tithe payer, and make every effort to spare additional funds to the church's various charities and social outreach projects. I'm a firm believer in actions defining and shaping our inner selves. By serving others, I feel myself drawing closer to the divine.
