Hi I'm Tess Hanson

I grew up in South Jordan, Utah. I am a missionary in the California San Diego Mission, Spanish Speaking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of four daughters in my family, no brothers. We all enjoy singing and playing music together, and when we were younger, we even had a family band. I play the Violin, Drums, and Guitar but have a special love for being drummer. I love my family so much! "So much in life is extraneous, but the family is the real thing" I went to one semester of college and I am now serving a mission in San Diego. I love being able to speak another language, es un nuevo mundo entero! I am grateful everyday that I chose to serve a mission. I know that my life changed when I chose to do what God knew would be best for me, rather than everything turning out how I had always planned. That's just it. When my life doesn't turn out as I've planned, but instead according to what He sees best in this great plan of Happiness, it has gone from good to best. I love being in the business of hope, and I know that greatest way to love your life is to fill it and focus it on people, and especially our Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to grow up with wonderful examples and family as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints. I am a Mormon because I feel joy in following the gospel teachings and striving to be like my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Everyday I get to wake up really early thinking about what I can do to help others come unto Christ. All day I go out and do. I get to testify of our living Savior and the perfect Plan of Happiness He made possible for us where marriages and families can be eternal. We serve, we teach, we smile, we sing, and we invite others to know that Christ lives, and His same Gospel has been restored to the Earth, to bless us, because He loves us. In the night, I review all that I have done with His name as a representative of Jesus Christ, and I pour out my gratitude in prayer that tomorrow, I get to do it again.
