Hi I'm Nate

I love languages. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent the first 17 years of my life in the same Midwest town and grew to love the people there very deeply. It was very hard to move, but I know that the Lord had a purpose in it. I love to study and learn to speak languages, and I feel that that helps me understand and love others better.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has born witness to me of the truth of The Book of Mormon. After I moved away from my hometown, I was in agony. And I stayed there for a long time. I got tired of living in darkness. I read the words of Moroni and King Benjamin and acted upon the words of the scriptures; to ask God in the name of Christ if these words (The Book of Mormon) are not true, and if you know any commandment to be true, to follow it. As I knelt in prayer the Spirit filled my soul with joy, and my doubt left.

How I live my faith

I serve in the ward's primary, meaning I get to teach children about our Savior each Sunday. I know it sounds cliché, but honestly I learn so much more about the pure love of Christ from them than I could ever hope to instill in them. The Spirit bears witness to the truth of all things, and I've never felt it more strongly than I do when we sing songs of Christ or hear the other teachers bare simple testimonies.
