Hi I'm Maegan.

I like to travel. I grew up in Utah. I enjoy small talk about the weather. I'll be serving a mission in Alabama. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outside, and canyoneering with my dad during the summer is a must. I enjoy going to Hot Yoga with my mom and sister on a weekly basis, and I recently started going to an indoor climbing gym to boulder. Another one of my passions is traveling. I volunteered to teach English in Russia and China, and have been able to travel around those areas of the world which opened my eyes quite a bit! I play the piano and have enjoyed creating my own music when I'm feeling creative. I was also homeschooled since I was 7 years old.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the Church, I have had a solid home life where true teachings were taught and family prayer was given. I am a continuing member of the Church because of the peaceful, happy feeling I get from the Gospel. Living by the standards we've been given has helped me to become a better person, and I don't know where I'd be without them! The restored Gospel sheds light on questions and has given me a wealth of knowledge. When you search the scriptures you will find answers. The sole purpose of these scriptures is to testify of Christ. He is the foundation of our Church, and the foundation of my life.

How I live my faith

I enjoy attending my weekly Church meetings at my young single adult ward (YSA). I have had various Church callings throughout my life. And I participate in Church by giving talks when asked, and playing the piano. I live my faith by trying every day to make good decisions, to be a righteous Daughter of God, and remember my worth. I pray every day and night, and seek to have the Spirit in my life. Going to the temple also helps me to have a spiritual outlook.
