Hi I'm Katie Robison

I come from the crazy city of Las Vegas! I love my family, friends, dancing, singing off key, reading, sports and being a mormon.

About Me

I love to read, dance, sing (although not very well), play sports, goof off, and hang out! I am a student at Brigham Young University, but have currently put my education on pause to serve a mission for the Lord in the beautiful land of Toronto, Canada. I love serving people, and couldn't be happier! I grew up in the crazy city of Las Vegas, Nevada with my 2 loving parents, 3 wonderful sisters, and 1 silly brother. Being the middle of 5 children, I would say I got the best of the best! I was able to learn from the examples of my oldest sister and brother, and at the same time, double as an example for my little sisters to follow. I love my family greatly! They mean the world to me, and always look forward to the times that we have to spend together!

Why I am a Mormon

While born into a wonderful family that has been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for many years, there came a time when I had to decide if this was something that I wanted for myself. Through much prayer, reading of the scriptures, and pondering, I have come to the conclusion for myself of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the Prophet Joseph Smith. This belief has changed my life for the better as I have sought to live and truly become a Christian in all the ways that I can. I can honestly say that as I have sought to truly live my faith, I have found more joy in the details, and more joy in the journey. I know who I am, and what I stand for. Through personal experiences of my own, I have learned that we do in fact have a loving Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ knows each one of us personally. I would invite you to learn this for yourself by reading the Book of Mormon, and then getting on your knees and asking our Heavenly Father if the words you have read are true. If you do so with a sincere heart, our Heavenly Father will let you know.

How I live my faith

There have been many ways I have gone about living my faith. While at home, I lived my faith with my family and friends; we would often find ourselves involved in the service of others and the community through many different ways. Recently, I have decided to live my faith by serving a mission for the Lord for 18 months. I have been called to serve in the Canada Toronto Mission. I spend my days going about, serving others, and helping others strengthen their faith and belief in Jesus Christ.
