Hi I'm Jory Gardner

Im a native of Colorado, im a nut for guns and art, and im a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in the town of Grand Junction CO. I love to play some sports with my friends but I really love to watch a good movie (like Lord of the Rings). my favorite competitive sport is wrestling and I really love the outdoors. I grew up in a family of nine, me being the youngest of six brothers and having three sisters. I never had a dull moment in my house, we were always either having a good time together or with friends, but the best part of my life is my religion. I didn't learn this until about four years ago. religion was never something I found to be a priority, I always shrugged it off and found ways to get out of doing things related to it, but thanks to some really great parents and a whole lot of effort from them and my family, I realized the importance of my relationship with my heavenly father. now I cant imagine my life without this church. this gospel has shown me blessings that I never would have realized on my own and has given me a love and respect for my heavenly father that I have never before felt. this gospel has changed my life for the better and given me so much strength for the trials today and even more hope for the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know for a surety that this is the true church. that it is led by a modern day prophet and that we have the fullness of the everlasting gospel. I also know that the book of Mormon is true scripture and will help us to grow closer to God and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a two year mission in the Virginia Chesapeake area. this is the greatest experience ever and I really want for God and Christ's purpose to be mine, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Jory Gardner
faith is a word of action. faith in Jesus Christ cannot be increased if a persons faith is left dormant. every single principle of this gospel can and must be acted upon. if you want to increase your faith in Jesus Christ you have to be willing to do the things required of you, such as praying to know whether these things are true. in the book of Moroni in the book or Mormon chapter 10 verse 4 it says "and when ye shall receive these things, i would exhort you that ye would ask God the Eternal Father in the name or Christ, if these things are not true. and if ye shall ask with a SINCERE heart, with REAL INTENT, having FAITH Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost." we can learn for ourselves if Jesus Christ and God are really there, all we have to do is ask.
