Hi I'm Justin

Hello I am Justin and I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I played soccer when I was young and in high school. I built my own personal computer as a project in high school (simpler than it sounds). I also love to listen to music and I love to play music. I play the Viola, a stringed instrument, and the Bassoon, a woodwind instrument. I also love to sing. I can't wait to begin serving in Australia. I have always been a member of the LDS church since I was born.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church within an active family. I never really focused on my own belief until I was in my latter teen years. I had grown very lazy in the church and was always reluctant to take the messages to heart. As I began discovering the gospel for myself I was able to understand that it brings a happiness and reassurance I can't find elsewhere. When they changed the minimum age for missionaries, my plans for my future were re-evaluated when I knew I wanted to follow the Lord's commandment and spread the knowledge of how to gain happiness and joy in life through the gospel.

How I live my faith

To begin I was called to be a leader in a young men's youth group when I was 12 and 13. After that I did not have a calling. I attend church weekly and the youth activity every Tuesday. I was recently called to direct the music during our sacrament meeting. Now I have been called as a missionary for the church and I have never done anything like it before but I am very excited and eager to serve.
