Hi I'm Hope

I am from Utah. I love music, mountains, and photography.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in Seattle Washington, Russian speaking! I am convinced that Russian is one of the most beautiful languages. I love photography (especially taking pictures of stars), driving through canyons, hiking, painting, and anything else creative. I am a lover of gemstones, alternative medicine, and whole foods. Something I love is connecting with other people through music. I play seven instruments; violin, viola, piano, mandolin, guitar, ukulele, and the organ. My favorite thing about playing musical instruments is that I get to feel God's love and transfer that love to my listeners. One passion I have is using music in the healthcare field. I have worked alongside music therapists in hospitals to help patients heal emotionally, mentally, and physically. I love the science and truth behind music. It truly does effect us.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel true confidence, joy, and balance when I obey all of God's commandments. I'm not perfect at it, but I have peace knowing that I can bring my weaknesses to Christ and that he helps me turn them into strengths. He helps me every day! I have experienced redemption, strength, and transformation through following Jesus Christ. Through Him I have true joy. I love this church and who I have become because of it.

How I live my faith

Each day I am getting better at taking time to listen and care for others. I think that one of the most important things we can do is love others; no matter who they are or what they have done. I live my faith by trying to see each individual as one of God's children and by trying to serve them. We are all learning to become better, and it's important to keep that in mind and have patience with others. I have "check-ins" with God throughout the day to make sure I am doing what he would have me do. God is there for us every minute of the day, and if we ever need guidance on how to do anything, He will help us! I feel confidence in all that I do because I know that I am walking with God continually.
