Hi I'm Tiffany Low

I grew up in Canada, I'm a nurse and mother and more importantly a daughter of God and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the USA but grew up in Canada. My mother was raised in the States and my dad in Alberta, Canada. I have 4 siblings, who as of last year are all married. I grew up in humble circumstances and fortunately was able to put myself through college and university. I have been a registered nurse for 10 years now and love the opportunity to care for others in need. I am married to an introvert - opposites definitely attract because I am my husbands opposite. We have been married now for 8 years. We struggled with infertility for most of that time but we were able to have a little miracle baby girl born to us in 2013. Who now is the life and light of my life. We continue to struggle to have more children but we place our faith in God that more will come. I play on a competitive ladies league volleyball team and enjoy every minute of it. I like to bake and read and craft and sew and paint and wood work and and and. LOL I love keeping busy but what I love most is being with my family and watching my daughter grow.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were raised in the Mormon faith and so I grew up attending church and learning the doctrine. One may think that because of this upbringing that I just assimilated into this belief and culture but I have studied and prayed for myself that I would know if the things I learned were true. Through God's love and the Holy Ghost I have gained a testimony of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and continually feed that testimony as I worship and grow in faith each week. This testimony has made me a better person; it has buoyed me up during severe trials. It has allowed me to be open to having a relationship with my Heavenly Father and my Saviour and indeed blesses my life in ways I cannot comprehend. I know my Heavenly Father blesses me for trying to be more like him in all that I do and say.

How I live my faith

My faith has been a big part of my life. I've let it encompass and guide my life through both trials and happy times. I try to do the small and simple things that no one sees in order to have God's spirit direct me in my life. This is done through studying his holy word, the scriptures, daily and talking to my Heavenly Father through prayer regularly. By serving others and not focusing on my life and its many struggles. Through quite and ongoing obedience to God's commandments to love him and love others. In the Mormon faith we have many opportunities to serve in the church, some of my callings have included presiding over the women's organization in our community, as well as planning activities for our whole congregation to come together and have fun. I currently teach 7&8 year olds each Sunday about our Saviour Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. I also get to plan and execute activities for 8-12yr old girls in our church community to which I'm having lots of fun being a kid again. I try to teach my daughter the gospel principles taught to me and that I have come to learn are true and will bless my life.
