Hi I'm Tatiana

I'm a fashionista. I'm an artist. I'm the only active member in my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the middle child of two different sets of children. One set of four and one set of three. When I was ten my father went to prison, causing my mother to raise four children by herself. In a weird and twisted way this insured a bright future for me. I just didn't know that at the time. I love any and all things involving fashion, art, and interior design. I enjoy going to art and music festivals. Such as Life is Beautiful held in Las Vegas, NV, As well as South by Southwest held in Austin, Tx. I would love to be able to travel the world, some of my destinations include: The International Kite Festival held in India, White Nights Festival held in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Holi held in India. I would also like to travel all 50 states and take a photo by the welcome to signs.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I had a difficult situation. With the events leading up to my father's arrest including the arrest itself I lost a sense of who I was. Unknown to me at the time I slowly began to harden my heart. Even though I was only 10 at the time I knew that I wanted to still be able to love and trust others. Following my fathers arrest I was sent to child haven. A safe place for abandoned and abused children. It was at that time I knew I needed to do something to prevent myself from turning my back on the world and becoming cold. So I decided to pray. I asked Heavenly Father to help me send me the guidance I needed to soften my heart. After one month and one week I was sent back home to my mother. It was then that I met two sisters. Through humble obedience and guidance received through prayer, I made the decision to be baptized at the age of ten. Currently, at the age of nineteen, I still can't express how grateful I am for Heavenly Father listening to the needs of a lost and scared ten year old. I am Mormon because I have been given back my identity and am no longer a number in a system. Or simply a statistic. I'm a Mormon because it has led me to the true path of happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others no matter how simple or difficult the task may be. Serving others is one of the greatest ways to show Christ like love. Another way I have chosen to live my faith is by preparing for a mission.
