Hi I'm 'Tunmise

I am a Lagosian, grew up in a busy city by the Sea, I love to smile. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a Revenue Assurance Officer, I love Finance; I also love to read and play basketball. Hopefully would be at marriott for my MBA sometimes soon.... God willing!

Why I am a Mormon

My Father(works with NDIC) got a book of Mormon from his friend Mr Mitch while at a FDIC conference in washington D.C. He did not bother to read it but got home and handed it over to me; I took the book and read it carefully and was fascinated about the words therein. I wanted to understand in details what it was about as such i approached the LDS church closer to me, the elders were so welcoming and the service was very peaceful and engaging, i was overwhelmed by the peaceful nature of worship and the sweet sacrament. I continually attended service and got baptized a few weeks later. Since this incidence my life had been extremely peaceful I witnessed God though peace over all my extreme worries i feel very privileged to have made that decision to be a part of the church.

How I live my faith

I enjoy the hymns; the teachings of the Bible and the details recount of the Book of Mormon is extremely inspiring. The purity and self discipline the church promotes which we i am privileged to be part of is quite an eye opener. I also love the opportunity at sharing testimonies which i can do everyday since i have joined as Gods love and grace has been continually reflective in my daily life. Studying the Bible with the Elders and continual discussion also fuels the interest and aspirations at developing and devoting more time to the word of God which i know as true also which i bear witness to.
