Hi I'm Camille Bunnell

I'm a beach fanatic. I helped with an orphanage in Guatemala this summer and fell in love with it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My passion is music. I feel at peace whenever I play piano. I have played for twelve years and it hasn't become old to this day. I love to play other instruments, but I will always choose piano over them! I can always feel the spirit when I play. I absolutely love anything that has to do with being active. I love running, climbing and anything that involves a challenge! Don't put me in the girl category because you don't think I can compete with boys! That will make me even more competitive! I attend do college! I am in love with it and I love that I can feel the spirit anywhere I go! I am studying to be a vet tech. I have a strong love for animals and caring for others, so I figured I could combine the two!

Why I am a Mormon

I did grow up a member, but I did have to find out for myself. I will never forget the night that I knew God lives, and loves me. I was about twelve, and it felt, to me at that age, that the whole world was just falling around me. I wasn't in a good place to feel loved and seemed that I was completely alone. So I did the one thing I knew I could do, and the one person i could talk to. So i knelt down on my bed and prayed my heart out. In the midst of asking why this was happening, i could feel The Lord's arms surround me and at that moment I knew i would never be alone and that the Lord loves me. I also knew that I was doing the right thing and i gained a strong testimony of the Church and how true it is. It has brought me so much happiness and i have no idea how i would be without it.

How I live my faith

It definitely is a lot different at college being surrounded by members! Back home it was a lot easier to share the gospel! I would host game nights and invite the missionaries so they could teach a lesson at the end with all my friends and their friends there! It was amazing to see them listen to their message and enjoy it! I did play organ for my ward back home and was the ward choir pianist. It was definitely a sacrifice to take the time to practice, but I enjoyed every bit of it. One particular moment that I remember being able to share my standards with my entire school with out even speaking. I was on the homecoming court and the school picked out our dresses for us to wear. Both of the times that I was on it, they were immodest. So, when we had to walk in front of hundreds of people, I looked different because I wore something to make it modest. At first I felt silly, and an outsider. But then i realized the impact that i had and i will never ever regret that. I got so many comments and it really strengthened my testimony on modesty. Since then my stake asked me to speak on modesty to the young women at a conference we had together as young women. It was a great experience and I know I can feel the Lord's presence easier and more clear by the way I dress.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Camille Bunnell
I believe with all my being that the Lord has a prophet on the earth today and it is Thomas S. Monson. The Lord gave his children a prophet in the past because he loved them and wanted them to be able to know exactly what He wanted them to do. So why would he take a break, especially when the world is becoming more and more wicked. Now is a time that we need a prophet for our guidance from the Lord and he has given us a prophet to help.
