Hi I'm Kiri

Art is what I eat for breakfast. I am a serving a mission in beautiful Alaska. I am happy and grateful to be a Mormon.

About Me

I am an idahoan! I am currently serving my mission in Alaska. I have 3 siblings. I make art! All kinds of art. If I had to choose a favorite, I would say special fx makeup. I love being a member of this church! I love the happiness it has brought into my life. I love the Book of Mormon. It gets better every time I read it. And I love the unexpected adventures life brings.

Why I am a Mormon

I have not always been a faithful Latter Day Saint. I've hit a bottom, a low persay. Remembering what I was taught growing up, and turning back to that lifted me out of that hole. Prayer keeps me strong along with scripture study and attending the temple. I have had sweet moments in my life that have testified that this gospel is true. I have seen a 180 flip of my life. I have been blessed because I chose to follow Christ. He is my savior and my redeemer. I know Joseph smith restored the fullness of the gospel back to the earth and because of it, the world has been blessed along with millions of individuals. I know the Book of Mormon is a testament if Jesus Christ. I say that in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving God, his son Jesus Christ, and all I have been blessed with. I am leaving on a mission soon, and I believe that is a pretty good way of showing how I love my faith. I try to love everyone because we are all children of God. I attend my ward meetings because I love the atmosphere and people and mostly the gospel.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Kiri
Throughout time God has given his people revelations and prophesies. Those people have written them down. The Bible was just the first book to be put together and translated. It testifies of God and Christ. It is known as a "Christian" book. Well Mormons believe in Christ making us Christians. So why would we not believe the Bible? Show more Show less

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Kiri
There are ao many blessing we recieve from the Holy Ghost and sometimes they are unique to an individual person. One that is very common is to have his guidance. Kind of like a guardian angel, he is there to help you choose what is best for you. He comforts you in times of stress or doubt. He wants you to feel ok. The biggest gift is when he bears testimony to you of Christ and Heavenly Father. He testifies with a burning feeling inside. Show more Show less
