Hi I'm Becca

I am the youngest of 7 successful siblings. I've grew up in California, Idaho, and Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student, and doing my best to make it through everyday life challenges. Music is my first love, right after my family and pet dog of course. I treat my guitar like a million dollars, and I love sitting down to play the piano. I have no idea what I want to major in, but I love Math and Science.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life, and there is no way I could imagine my life without the instant support and love that comes from being a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that this Church is Jesus Christ's church because He has allowed it to change my life for the better. My family members always talk about how a year ago I was so different than how I am now. I struggled with a lot of things growing up, some of them include Anxiety and Depression. Having emotional struggles sometimes feels like your being suffocated and I tried every type coping method. The only one that has worked is Jesus Christ. He has always been there for me, showing me unconditional love, forgiveness, hope, happiness, and comfort. Christ taught people to follow him, to be his disciples by following in his example. Mormons, like many other religious people around the world, strive to become more like Christ in every way. I am grateful the testimony I have gained of this Church through prayer and a lot of 'testing it out'. This Church is true. A 14 year old boy, named Joseph Smith, really saw Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father in a grove of trees in 1830. They entrusted Joseph with the responsibility to translate an ancient record into what we now call the Book of Mormon. This Book has the potential to change lives. Upon this book, the whole Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints relies on. I know the Book of Mormon is true and it has changed my life. The Book of Mormon, with the Bible, stands as a testament that Jesus Christ is real. He lived and died for all human kind.

How I live my faith

When I was in the Youth organization, Young Women's as we call it, I served in a couple class presidencies. After I went to college I got the opportunity to help plan a monthly lunch with all of the women of the ward. My latest calling, however has been in the Family History department. I also love getting to spend time with ladies in my ward, visiting them and helping them with anything they need.
