Hi I'm Erick Achal

I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I love rugby, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I've been on my mission in California for a little while now and I've been loving every minute of it! Both of my parents are converts to the church and my mom served a mission at Temple Square. I played a lot of sports in High School and made some life long friends along the way. If you have a question about Pokemon or Anime I'm the guy to ask! I have three little sisters and one little brother who have taught me a lot about patience and having fun. My long term goal for a career is to become a pediatric oncologist and help bring light to kids who are going through the hardest time in their little life. Yup, that's about it :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this faith but overtime I have come to be truly converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ. My family always had the church and the gospel in our lives but we have had different levels of commitment throughout my life. The times when we were going to church, praying as a family, and when I was doing my best to live a Christ-like life have been the happiest times of my life. There were still challenges and problems but living the gospel gives you an eternal perspective and a hope that things will work out.

How I live my faith

My faith is a huge part of my identity and how I view everyday life. I strive my best to become more like Jesus Christ daily by praying, reading my scriptures, and serving others with a smile!
