Hi I'm Ellaina

I love to play the piano. I love to hike. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman at Brigham Young University Idaho. I trying to decide what I want to do as a career for the rest of my life. I am trying my best in school, and I like to get good grades. I enjoy serving others and was in the community service club in high school. One of my favorite projects was building a small library in a local elementary school. I am going to serve a mission for the Church in California. I am preparing to go and serve the Lord and share my beliefs for 18 months. It is a little daunting, but I know that the Lord will help me on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel gives me hope, and helps me be the best I can be. I make mistakes but through Christ and His Atonement I can continually improve. I believe that families are important and can be together forever. I love my family and want to be with them. I know that I can receive personal revelation or guidance from God, and also guidance from modern day Prophets, who are men called of God. I am grateful that I am a member of the Church and I love it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to be an influence for good with all people I come in contact with. I strive to live life happily and with a smile on my face. I regularly read the scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father. I know that I am blessed when I read the scriptures and pray. During High School I was able to learn more about the gospel by attending early mourning seminary (a class similar to Sunday School) every school day. I live strive to live such a way people will see that I have something wonderful that makes me happy, which is the gospel.
