Hi I'm Sister Palu

I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love Volleyball, Basketball, Music, and being a missionary. I'm the youngest of 10! :) 8 girls and 2 boys, I love my family, they mean the world to me. My parents have passed away, but I know where they are and have never lost hope that I will see them again :) I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for about 14 years. My favorite thing to do in the whole world, is to sit on the beach with family and friends, and just sing and laugh and enjoy each others company. I love the beach. I'm very random and will say random things a lot but it's okay! :) I love food! Food is GOOD! :) I've learned to cook lots of good Texas food on my mission and eat them too :) I've loved every second of becoming a Texan! :) It's been a great ride and there's no way I'm stopping here. Heavenly Father has helped me through this gospel, understand his plan for me. Why did I come on a mission? I don't really know! :/ Why did I stay on a mission? I found my purpose for coming in the first place! I love this gospel and I love knowing that Heavenly Father thinks about me personally everyday. He trusted me with the lives of his children here in Texas, and there's no way I could've turned and walked away from it. I know my purpose, I know what I'm good at, and I love doing it! :) Texas is Heaven! There's no where that has captured my heart and no other people who has captured my heart like the people of Dallas Texas! 3

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it's not a religion to me, it's a BIG, WORLDWIDE FAMILY! We take care of each other and anyone else we see in need. We "TRY" to live our lives in harmony with the Savior's example! Although we fail A LOT, we use the Atonement to get up and try again. There's a quote given by Elder Renlund, to all latter day saints, "If we don't try, we are latter-day sinners! If we don't preserver, we are latter-day quitters! and if we don't let others try, we are latter-day hypocrites!" So, why am I a Mormon? because I am a Latter-Day Saint! :)

How I live my faith

I love hanging out with people and just getting to know them personally! I was very awkward before my mission and weird! I've learned on my mission that people are people and if they want to talk to me, then yaay, new friend for me, if not, no new friend for me. But, I always love them. LOVE is very essential. That's how I choose to live my faith, is loving everyone and letting them know my arms are always open. It's a great feeling. President Thomas S. Monson said "Never let a problem to be solved, become more important than a person to be loved!" I've learned that and I'm still learning it. But I know this is what people love about me so I'm going to keep getting better at it. It's a gift from Heavenly Father and I'm grateful for it!

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Sister Palu
I have lost lots of family members, not knowing what would happen to them would scare me. My parents didn't get the chance to hear the gospel and my sister, because she didn't fully understand it, didn't accept it before they passed on. Baptisms for the dead is one of the many chance that Heavenly Father has given to those who choose to reject the gospel or didn't have the chance to hear it. It gives them a chance and for those who choose to reject it, ANOTHER chance to accept it. Being baptized by the Priesthood authority of God in YOUR body, is the greatest feeling ever! That's why it's important for to do it NOW! I was able to be baptized for my sister on my 21st Birthday and on my mission, and it was definitely something I'll never forget. :) there's always hope for us, and that is evidence that Heavenly Father knows us, and loves us, and knows what we need to return to him again. :) Have any questions?
