Hi I'm Bill Soulsby

I'm a husband and a grandfather. I'm the family taxi driver. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like photography and writing. I enjoy trying new things. I have a degree in communications. With the help of the Sister Missionaries and the Church I am a reformed heathen.

Why I am a Mormon

A few months ago after a neighborhood party, put on by our Mormon neighbors, two persistent sister missionaries knocked on my door. I told them we were going to a church, but to come back when my wife was home. They gave us some pamphlets to read, and a few weeks later invited us to church and showed us the LDS websites. As soon as I walked into the church and started meeting people it was like coming home, everyone was really friendly and warm. One of our neighbors asked us if we were ready for 3 hours of church, and I guess we were! The subjects they covered in church were interesting to me. I understood the Book of Mormon better than the Bible, less "thee's" and "thou's." I made the decision to be baptized and was surprised when my wife decided to be baptized as well. Now we are preparing to be sealed as a family in the temple.

How I live my faith

I read from the Book of Mormon and pray each day. We attend church as a family weekly. I go teaching with the missionaries occasionally. And I serve at every opportunity.
