Hi I'm Hermana Littlefield

I´m from Utah. I love soccer and reading. I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church. I started playing soccer at age 6 and I have played ever since. I was in the band during junior high; I was a percussionist. My senior year of high school I was part of the color-guard at my school and we performed with the marching band. It was a blast! After I graduated high school I attended a semester of college. I am now at the Missionary Training Center preparing to enter the mission field in Argentina!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know it is God's true church on the earth. Growing up in the church, I have always known this is where I am supposed to be. I was baptized when I was eight and continued throughout my life to follow God's commandments. I don't think I was truly converted to the gospel until I started seminary, youth scripture class, at age 14. It was the middle of my last year of junior high and I was kind of lost. I didn't know who I was or who my friend's were. All I knew is that God wanted me to keep moving forward and strive to find the knowledge for myself. I remember one night I was saying my prayers, before bed, and I was asking God to show me His love. I wanted to know that He was there. I sat there crying and pondering. All of a sudden I felt His arms around me. I felt his love for me. From then on my testimony of the gospel has gradually increased. That moment in my life was pivotal in my conversion to the gospel. Since that experience, I have never doubted His love for me and all of His children. I know this gospel is Christ's church restored. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and the Son. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and that it is the word of God. I know that God has a plan for me and if I continue to follow His commandments He will bless me. I know that through prayer we can speak to Heavenly Father and the Spirit will reveal truths unto us. I know that families can be together forever, when sealed in the temple. I know that the priesthood was restored and it is through this power we can achieve eternal life, by entering into covenants with our Father. I know that in the temple we can complete saving ordinances for those who have passed on from this life. I know that God's plan of salvation is real. Jesus Christ lives and He atoned for our sins so that we may return to live with God again. This gospel gives me strength and peace to continue in this life.

How I live my faith

In the past I have served in numerous Young Women presidencies, this is the leadership among the girls from age 12 to 18. The last calling I had in my home ward was a nursery leader. I would look after the 18-month to 3 year old children. We had the best of times with snacks, coloring, singing time, and learning about God and Jesus. At college I was a visiting teacher and visiting teaching supervisor. Right now, I am serving as a missionary for the church sharing the gospel with others.
