Hi I'm Trey

I grew up in Seattle. I'm a college student. I love being outdoors, boating, golfing, and skiing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student studying business finance. I'm a typical guy, who likes anything to do with sports and or being outdoors. I've been on skis since I could walk and in recent years become an avid golfer.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to have been raised in a family that is strong in the Gospel. So as a kid I was Mormon simply because my parents were, which generally worked out pretty well for my family. But since I have moved out into the world on my own, my faith has greatly increased. I now better understand the blessings that my family and I grew up with because of the Gospel in my life and want to have those same blessings in my own family someday. I know that my heavily father loves me and fully understands who I am, and that through both wonderful and tragic times he can be there to offer me comfort and guidance, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday and fellowshipping with other members of my congregation. In many ways I have another "family" with those in my congregation. In my personal time I enjoy reading from the Bible and Book of Mormon, which I sometimes am surprised about because I never was much of a reader growing up. One thing about reading that I love is that I often find answers to questions and prayers while reading, whether I am deliberately looking for them or just reading recreationally. I know that I have been greatly blessed by having the Gospel in my life and I believe that everyone should have that same opportunity, so I have chosen to serve a full-time mission for two years in hopes to share this gift. I will be serving in the Baltic Mission beginning in 2015.
